That elegant blonde, Lady Tegan Jane Slapwell, is having tea with her good if somewhat bizarre friend Dame Paige Birchbottom, who always prefers to dress in strange masked outfits that cloak her features in an aura of mystery. Then, of all things, Lady Tegans maid Samantha Bentley once again proves herself to be on the cutting edge of ineptitude, bringing out the righteous fury of Dame Paige, whose quirt is always at the ready to discipline the absolutely incorrigible and completely disgraceful lower classes. Lady Tegan is delighted at how quickly Dame Paige is able to bring hapless Samantha into line with some well-placed face slaps and spitting, two of the most degrading punishments she is wont to administer to her underlings.
